Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Refrigerate until set.
Heart-Shaped Cakes
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Then, add the eggs and vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt).
- Combine both mixtures and pour into heart-shaped cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes and let cool before serving.
Notes
Arrange chocolate-covered strawberries on a beautiful platter and drizzle some extra melted chocolate over them for an elegant touch. Garnish the heart-shaped cakes with fresh whipped cream or berries.
