Method
 

Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
  1. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
  2. Dip each strawberry into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment-lined tray.
  3. Refrigerate until set.
Heart-Shaped Cakes
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Then, add the eggs and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt).
  4. Combine both mixtures and pour into heart-shaped cake pans.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes and let cool before serving.

Arrange chocolate-covered strawberries on a beautiful platter and drizzle some extra melted chocolate over them for an elegant touch. Garnish the heart-shaped cakes with fresh whipped cream or berries.
