Ingredients
  

For the tuna mixture
  • 1 can tuna, drained The star ingredient adding protein.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Adds creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard Provides a zesty kick.
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery For crunch.
  • 1/4 cup chopped red onion Adds sweetness and sharpness.
  • Salt and pepper To taste.
For the wrap
  • 2 pieces whole wheat wraps or tortillas Base of the wrap that adds fiber.
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese Melts beautifully for richness.
  • Desired toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, etc.) Optional, customize as preferred.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Combine the tuna, mayonnaise, mustard, celery, onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix well until all ingredients are merged.
  2. Lay out a whole wheat wrap on a clean surface and place a generous portion of the tuna mixture in the center.
  3. Sprinkle a handful of shredded cheese on top and add any extra toppings.
  4. Fold in the sides of the wrap and roll it up tightly from the bottom.
Cooking
  1. If you prefer a warm wrap, grill it in a pan over medium heat for a few minutes until the cheese melts and the wrap slightly crisps.
  2. Serve the Tuna Melt Wrap right away and enjoy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat. You can freeze them for up to two months.
