Ingredients
  

For the pudding mixture
  • 1 package cream cheese 8 oz., at room temperature for smooth mixing
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 box French Vanilla pudding 5 oz.
  • 2 cups milk for mixing with pudding
  • 1 container whipped topping 12 oz., for topping
For layering
  • 2 boxes Vanilla Wafers for base and layers
  • 6-8 pieces bananas sliced, fresh
  • 1 container strawberries fresh, for layering

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  2. Add the French Vanilla pudding and milk to the mixture and stir until well combined.
Layering
  1. In a large serving dish, layer the vanilla wafers as the first layer.
  2. Add a layer of sliced bananas evenly over the wafers.
  3. Scatter the strawberries on top of the bananas.
  4. Pour half of the pudding mixture over the fruit and wafers.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining vanilla wafers, bananas, and strawberries.
  6. Pour the remaining pudding mixture on top of the last layer.
  7. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the final layer.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving to set the layers.

Notes

Use fresh, ripe bananas and strawberries for best flavor. Chill overnight if possible for improved taste. Enjoy with a sprinkle of toasted coconut or a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
