Ingredients
  

For the Tuna Mixture
  • 10.5 oz canned tuna, drained (about 14-15 oz can)
  • cup green onion, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • cup diced cucumber Offers a refreshing taste.
  • cup diced red bell pepper Provides color and sweetness.
  • cup diced celery Brings nice texture.
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce Enhances the umami flavor.
  • 2 teaspoons rice wine vinegar or lemon juice Adds brightness.
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil Gives a nutty aroma.
  • ¼ cup light mayonnaise Keeps it creamy.
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha chili sauce (plus extra to drizzle)
For Assembly
  • 4 sheets nori seaweed (cut into quarters)
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the green onion and all vegetables into small cubes.
  2. Drain the tuna and add it to a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix in the soy sauce, vinegar or lemon juice, sesame oil, mayonnaise, and Sriracha.
  4. Stir until everything is well combined.
Assembly
  1. Lay out the nori squares on a plate.
  2. Scoop 1-2 tablespoons of the tuna mixture onto each nori square.
  3. Drizzle with extra Sriracha, if desired, and sprinkle with sesame seeds and additional green onion.
  4. Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate the mixture and assemble when ready to serve.

Notes

For an extra kick, consider pairing with a side of crunchy vegetable sticks or a refreshing salad. To make these bites even more enjoyable, ensure your vegetables are diced finely. If you prefer less heat, reduce the Sriracha to your taste.
