Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan.
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add cocoa powder, protein powder, gluten-free flour, maple syrup or honey, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt to the bananas. Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly.
Baking
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and enjoy your high-protein chocolate banana bread!
Notes
For serving, enjoy plain or with almond butter, Greek yogurt, berries, or whipped cream. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
