For the Sliders
  • 8 pieces slider buns Choose soft, fresh buns for the best texture.
  • 1 pound roast beef, thinly sliced Use deli-quality meat for easy assembly.
  • 2 cups caramelized onions Sweet and savory, these add depth to the flavor.
  • 8 slices provolone cheese Melts beautifully and complements the beef.
  • 2 cups au jus for dipping Warm, flavorful sauce enhances each bite.
  • to taste salt and pepper Season to taste for added flavor.
  • 4 tablespoons butter Melting it adds richness to the buns.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottoms in a baking dish.
  3. Layer the roast beef evenly on the buns.
  4. Add caramelized onions and provolone cheese on top of the beef.
  5. Place the tops of the slider buns on the assembled ingredients.
  6. Melt butter and brush it over the tops of the slider buns.
  7. Sprinkle with salt and pepper after brushing.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  9. Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

Serve warm, right out of the oven. Pair with crispy fries or a fresh salad.
