  • 1 cup all-purpose flour Use a spoon to aerate the flour before measuring.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt Kosher salt is recommended for flavor balance.
  • 2 large eggs Ensure they are at room temperature for better mixing.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Opt for pure vanilla for the richest flavor.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar Adjust the amount to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon You can adjust this for more or less spice.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt; bring to a boil.
  2. Add flour and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Remove from heat and let the dough cool slightly.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Add vanilla extract and combine thoroughly.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Using a piping bag, pipe bite-sized pieces of dough into the air fryer basket.
  3. Spray lightly with oil and air fry for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
Coating
  1. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together well.
  2. Toss churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture while warm.
  3. Serve warm and enjoy!
