Preparation
  1. Prepare the pudding or custard according to package instructions.
  2. Layer the ladyfingers or sponge cake in a trifle dish.
  3. Add a layer of the prepared pudding or custard.
  4. Add a layer of fresh berries.
  5. Repeat layers until the dish is filled, finishing with whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves and more berries if desired.
  7. Chill the trifle in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use high-quality ingredients and do not over-soak the ladyfingers. This trifle can be made a day in advance for best flavors.
