  • to taste Gummy worms Perfect for a fun, decorative touch.
  • 1 package chocolate cake mix (optional) Adds extra decadence if desired.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the chocolate pudding according to package instructions using milk.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the prepared pudding with whipped topping until smooth.
  3. If using, bake the chocolate cake according to package instructions and allow it to cool, then crumble it into the bottom of a serving dish.
  4. Layer crushed Oreo cookies over the chocolate cake (if used) or directly into the dish.
  5. Pour the pudding mixture over the cookies.
  6. Top with more crushed Oreos.
  7. Decorate with gummy worms on top to resemble a dirt effect.
  8. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For added texture, you can fold in mini chocolate chips into the pudding mixture or sprinkle them on top before chilling. Customize the decoration with colorful candies or seasonal sprinkles for a festive touch!
